I am looking forward to the updates too. I think Team USA is going to pull this off as well, and I don't think I'd even call it rooting for the under dog or pulling off the upset, I think the US is stacked from top to bottom and will stun anybody not up to speed with just how good they actually have become over the last 24 months or so.

Will Travis be competing or did he have to pull out from the back injury?

Nick Best is one of the fastest guys out there, with a great grip and great deadlift.
It should be an awesome contest, I can't wait to hear the results.

Also I heard Walt Gogola, a big deadlift & squat guy, as the US alternate will be competing in several events. I think alot of that will depend on how Travis's back is.

Yeah I saw him in NJ and he said he would be competing in the deadlift and the yoke. He is super strong - he did a few events as an exhibition and he looked strong. He did an easy triple clean and press with the 370 axle!
