Rope question

What kind of rope do you guys have or is used for competition like the truck pull or arm over arm? and what is a good length to have and where is a good place to buy it?

I have 120' of 1.5 Manila.

Have trained with it for over two years, and used it in several comps. Great stuff.

It was $120 delivered and I received it in about 3 days.

Keep an eye out on ebay and craigslist, too. I got 80' of 1.5 inch rope delivered from Orlando to OKC for $50.

I got mine from a boat shop. They can get stuff cheap. I got 100' of 1.5 for 45$. And for another 10$ they but 2 very nice weaved ends on it. It took the guy like 10 min to do. But if you do not live near a ocean, this may not be the case for you.
