Need some support

So yeah, this is more of a man's issue, as its really superficial you could say, but my left arm is a full inch bigger in diameter than my right......its really noticable too. My right is 18.5 and left is 19.5. I'm right arm dominant as well. I think most of it is due to the ergonomics of working on a farm all my life till I joined the navy. But still, is it normal for measurements like this, they are the same strength which is weird to me. Do all men have huge differences like that, to me its like a woman who has two different cup sizes on her breasts. I'm no bodybuilder, and seldom care about looks, but after working out and checkin myself out in the mirror for a quick second, its like, blah, why try? Is this a normal issue, I mean crap, when I become a civilian and make better pay I'll probably look into some synthol injections of something, cause its godawful rediculous. Even worse, I'd honestly say the bigger arm is more cut too. :confused:

anyways, it's natural for the human body to be unsymmetrical. my left arm is about half an inch smaller than my right arm. And, my right arm is more vascular than my left one also. also, ur arms may have differnet shapes. my left arm has more peak than my right arm (at least to me anyways). if u look at arnold's biceps, his left bicep has a higher peak than his right one.

it's odd they're the same strength also. but if u're doing curls or arm isolation - stop when ur smaller arm can't do anymore reps so that ur bigger arm is forced to do less work than what it is capable of doing. that way it'll be forced to grow at the rate of the smaller arm and eventually even out. OR use a heavier weight for ur smaller arm and then do the samething as above.

I'm gonna go straight to the gym now and spend the next 3 hours hammering on some "one leg" calf exercises to build up the left! :B:

Worse if I'm 'pumped' (which I almost never am). No one has ever commented on it unless I've pointed it out to them. I'm sure they would've said something as most of my friends and acquaintances are very critical of just about anything that has to do with me and beaters are practically a uniform for me.

also, most women do have different sized breasts.

Also, no one notices it except you.

And I'm not even going to touch the synthol thing.

Seriously, though asymmetry is a way of life. Most people have different sized ears, arms, calves, and fingers.

The thing that bothers me is that you are talking of synthol. Synthol is a dangerous substance. I suggest that if you really are concerned about the imbalance, then try doing extra bicep/tricep work. Please, do not just give up and inject that crap into your body. You will regret it.

I'm like the gay friend. Women know that I've accepted that I have so little chance with them I might as well not even try. So they have no problem telling and showing me these things.

Had a nasty setback, then the boards, so I haven't been able to train hardly at all. I wouldn't be able to do anything on events day anyway so I haven't been showing up. I'll PM you for sure when I'm all healed up and have my log and farmers handles though. The new place even has a shed. I'm excited.

Thanks hahaha, (yeah I know all women have different sized boobies bud, that's why I mentioned it) wow 2 inch difference, I suppose I should be grateful then, I'm not so worried about it, I was just more wondering what everybody elses differences where, prolly should have asked the question differently. As for synthol, looking that up right now, I was under the impression those were injections given by doctors and plastic surgeons and were completely safe, the only danger would be doing what ramblin freak did and doing them at home with dirty needles and trying to overcome your own infection by "popping it like a zit". Hahaha, reminds me of a shirt I almost bought once, had this saying on it. "I ain't too smart, but I sure can lift heavy things". :LOL: But exactly, see all the pokin fun lightened me up a bit. Oh wow, just looked up synthol, totally sorry for even mentioning it guys, I think I'll go take a walk down the row of shame for that one. :(

The 2 inch difference in arm size just looks goofier on Nik because his arms are 20 ft long.
I am glad you took the time to look into synthol. It is too dangerous to even consider.

I have to say that I am perfectly symmetrical in every way!

My love handles are identical on either side and my gut is about the same size as my butt, so much so that it's sometimes difficult to tell if I'm coming or going!!

My right thigh is larger than my left and my left calf is larger than my right. My obliques (yes obliques, not love handles) are different sizes too. My lower back is slightly crooked as is my.....whoops this isn't T-Nation, I'll keep that to myself.

1.5 to 2 inches is a huge difference when you're only talking about 6 inches to begin with.

Actually, I drive a "front discharge" mixer with a cab that is more like a cockpit. So, I can drive down the road with my arms out both windows, providing a nice even tan!

And, yes, I love the nickname. It suits me well because wrecking balls are short, round, and larger on the bottum than they are on top!

I checked my size when I saw this. I am concerned about my symmetry for the upcoming Marunde-Muscle.com Online Sackbuilding Competition! I have a 1/4" difference and I think the judges are gonna score me a little harshly.
