Congratulation to big Terry Hollands on winning Britain's Strongest Man 2007.

He won it yesterday! :mag:

I'm not sure on the other placings but THINK Mark Felix was second.

Yep Terry was great! Mark was second and Sadler was third with Jimy Marku coming a close fourth.

Awesome competition and Terry deserved it!

Yes congratulations, i predicted a win for Felix and Terry told me he was going to remind me of that when he won, so im expecting him to post a big fat i told you so.

well done Mr Hollands we salute you.

Im going to go out on a limb here terry, but im starting to realise that in two years time there isnt going to be a strongman in SS/TWI who is going to be able to touch you.

I won't do it!! I can understand why people thought Felix would beat me as it's the first time I've beaten him, just I was confident and I knew my form has been very good.

It couldn't have gone much better really, although Ironmind said Felix was leading, I was in the lead from the very first event of the final, I think I ended up with a 6 point cushion after the contest.

Kye it was nice to meet you and I hope you enjoyed watching it.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

There were some superb performances from my man Laurence Shahlaei (making the final and unfortunately tearing a bicep on the tire flip), Darren Saddler somehow lifting the stones to those monstrously high platform, Jimmy Marku's insane pressing and squatting, Mark Felix making the deadlift look easy and all the lads for some impressive work in difficult conditions.

The standout performance though was that of Terry Hollands. From start to finish he was focussed and committed to every event and his consistency throughout gave him the title he deserved. Not only that Terry is one of the most approachable strongmen in the game. Carly, Terry's partner also deserves a special mention for her consistency in supporting her man and the other competitors. Well done Carly!

Congratulation to Terry for an outstanding job in becoming Britain's Strongest Man 2007.

Nick

PS. There's photos on Beyond Strong of the event.

Great job Terry! Mark and Darren are both great competitors, so it is no small accomplishment winning the BSM. Congratulations, and can't wait to see you at the WSM again.

Cheers Terry, was brilliant meeting you and all the guys! I enjoyed every minute of it even though me and my dad had to camp out in the rain. Good luck at the rest of your competitions this year.. not that you need it!
