monday- AM: Hill sprints PM: Incline presses, light chins, upper body circuit, heavy tri work
tuesday- AM: light jog PM: power snatches or power cleans and squats.
wed- AM: long walk PM: High volume pullups and grip work
Thur- olympic lifting
fri- long walk or light jog
Sat- event training and deadlifting. super high volume, very high intensity.

Pretty hardcore schedule! Are you working mostly on cycles of periodization, or some different kind of protocol?

So I am not the only one who likes to run up hills. I just started this training a couple of weeks ago, once a week a climb the hill, starting at a jog until I am spent and then walk the rest of the way up. I started this in the hopes of increasing my cardio, stamina, and leg strength (which all suck right now). With a goal of bieng able to run up without stopping and/or walk up while pulling a weighted sled. I will try to remember my camera next time and post a pic of the hill.

I do periodize, but we mix it up quite a bit. right now we're alternating smashed cat squats with multiple sets of 2 rep box squats. not doing any pressing do to a fractured wrist. event training varies, but is usually HIT style. one balls out set.
