I thought it was nice that he would mention Jesse on his web site. I don't know what it says for sure, but I know there are some people here on the board that might be able to translate it for us.

I think the last part is

"He was a fun (funny) guy and without a doubt one of the toughest competitors I've ever known."

This is virtually a word for word translation, I speak fluent Polish. It seems a bit "flowery" when translated into English, but that's simply a reflection of the typical, accepted, Polish writing style, not any inadequacy on the part of the author.

"Jesse Marunde has died,

It is filled with great sadness that we report, that yesterday, a father, and friend, and many times a strongman competitor, Jesse Marunde, passed away.

Jesse died at the age of 28 years, from a heart attack, during his daily training.

We will definitely remember him as a joyous person and a worthy competitor to our champion! (obviously meaning Mariusz)"

You did a pretty damn good job actually ... especially for someone who just "took a few courses".

I didn't mean any disrespect, nor to "one up you" ... just thought that it might be important for Jesse's loved ones to have a more precise translation.
