I knew Ian Duggan and I believe someone else was throwing some ideas around for a t-shirt that has "SQUAT MORE" on the back. Is that idea still going around?
Thanks and I apologize if I'm missing the thread.

I think there have been a couple of threads on it:
designs: http://www.marunde-muscle.com/forum/showthread.php?p=133416#post133416
idea: http://www.marunde-muscle.com/forum/showthread.php?p=132431#post132431
but I don't think anyone has actually produced them yet.. or put up a store with them. I hope they do .. perhaps right on the front page of this forum, WSM or other strongman sites.

The designs are done, and if anybody can find a way to get the shirts produced and sold, then they can contact me and I'll can email them in whatever format is needed.
I would attempt it myself but a) I don't have the cash needed for the initial purchase of the shirts and b) I'm in the UK, which with the exchange rate right now would not make for cheap shirts / shipping.
There was talk of getting shop attached to this store, I don't know if that's still in the pipe line or not. Obviously there some more important things being dealt with just now I would imagine.

( or whomever is going to get this going) try customink.com they have a custom page, and, the $ gets lower when you buy more.

They're great to deal with. I bought my contest shirts from them.

Ian, what was the final design? I have a company we use that can handle this no problem. I just got off the phone and he said he will waive the set-up fees. So, it could work that people go onto the site, order via PayPal and the shirts are then drop shipped directly from the printer. What formats do you have the artwork in? Let me know and I can get it over to them and get it rolling.
www.olysign.com is the company, Wade is one of the owners and these guys rock.

Any word from the family about their thoughts on the designs? Thats what I thought we were waiting on.
Otherwise Mac had a great idea.

Ian and I both came up with some good designs.
I think we should get a vote going between what Ian feels his best is and mine; that should at least give a direction to move in and get the ball rolling. Sound good to everybody?
Ian, post yours in this thread and I'll put it up w/ mine in a separate poll thread.

Any reason we can't go with both designs? I'd be willing to buy one of each.

I'd like one of each as well. I like both designs.

It's about keeping overhead and inventory swell at a minimum so that a respectable profit can be made while keeping the sale price of the shirts reasonable. Hypothetically, if 80% of the board members preferred Ian's design, it obviously wouldn't be ideal to produce my design as well because in that case, the dollars slated for my design would have up to 4x the investment potential and turnaround velocity if it was put in Ian's; one design instead of two. The objective of the shirt project was to generate proceeds that would go back to the board and/or the Marundes, in addition to memorializing Jesse. This to me seems like the most efficient way of going about it.

I agree Ryan but here's something to consider. If we have a printer willing to wave the set up fees, either shirt will cost the same allowing for more choice and therefore marketing a larger number of customers. The guys at Olysign charge per print, so it won't matter what they are printing on the shirt as they will have already set it into their computer system. If there is any additional cost to having both prints, I will cover it. I would hate to see us limit ourselves just because of a fee.
The printing fee is the same regardless of what article of clothing it is being printed on. Long sleeve, short sleeve, tank top, whatever, same printing price. I am more than willing to handle the logistics if this is the way we decide to go. The nice thing is I am local to the Marundes so information and such can pass easily to them.
Anyway, this is just one choice, I will support whatever one is finalized.

The intention was always to have more than one design available, and one of those should without a doubt be yours Ryan. In fact if we only do one, it should be yours.
Hopefully though we'll get something that will enable us to do more than one, as people generally seem to want to buy more than one shirt.
As Adam rightly said though, we're also looking for word from Jesse's family, as we obviously don't want to do something that they don't agree with. Mac was looking into various things too of course, I'd forgotten that I must confess.
Sorry Mac... :o
Your contact sounds good too though Spencer, thanks for looking into that. Might be very handy indeed.
