Just wondering who here is also a proud owner of a classis vehicle

persoanlly, I came into full possesion of a 1966 Ford Mustang earlier today..
It needs work granted, but it's in great shape in all honesty.

If you balanced things right you might have a mean looking car yoke on your hands.

I have a '65 Mustang that was my first car. It's only a straight 6, but it's a nice car. It's needs some work, which I can't afford at the moment, so it's sitting under a shed at my parents house right now.

I have a 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix, my dad was the original owner. Still in original shape, so needs some work and hasn't ran in 20 years.

Its not a classic yet, but its 20 years old. This fall and winter I'm going to take the body off of the frame, have the frame media blasted and painted, rebuild the engine, trans, rear, and frt and rear suspension. Its a work in progress, its my wifes baby.

Nice car man, she'll be fun to work on.

I've got a 1983 Land Rover, does that count?

15 and driving a Mustang... life really isn't fair!

Awesome, I got a 1.4l Nissan Sentra, with the seat all the way back so pretty much no room behind me.

Hunter is 15, you being 18 is hardly any different. Still not fair.

I love your car hunter. Looks like fun. I have a 68 firebird. I have redone the entire car over the last 10 years. It has been alot of fun, and alot of money. But it was worth every penny!!!

My baby, while maybe not a classic yet; there were only 1600 produced. Lid, tint, remote start, egr delete, longtubes, tsp true duals, custom cam, tune, built tranny, and a 4400 stall are my only mods so far. Up next are some 4.10's (3.23's are killing me right now), full suspension, and some drag radials (my goodyears don't cut it anymore). Then it's back up front under the hood for a ls6 intake and some better flowing heads.

Hopefully that'll tide me over until she's no longer my daily driver. Thats when the fun begins... :EL:

Hunter, that's freaking awesome. Mine's 40 years newer.

I nearly picked up a 70 coupe (i like em better than fastbacks), but I wanted a 69 more than a 70 and I still had too much school ahead of me to deal with the headaches.

Briefly owned an 87 monte carlo SS with a 350 swap. Unfortunately had to ditch it when I went to England.

But wow, that car's a beauty. Enjoy her and take care of her.

I had a 69 plymouth roadrunner in high school. It had a 383 with a 4 speed. Lots of good times in that car.

Old thread but liked the topic. I have a 69 pony coupe I'm in the process of restoring. It'll have a 302 and T5 powering it. Other car is a 71 honda and I'm sure you guys will love it :IMHO: It weighs 1300lbs and I can easily DL the front of it with the bumper being designed as it is :mag:

Where to start... 1969 AMX with a 390 4spd, 2 1968 AMX's, one is a 343 auto and the other is a 390 4spd, 73 351c mustang convertable optioned out, 66 289 mustang coupe, 86 thunderbird 5.0, 76 MG Midget, 71 351c Mach 1, 1990 5.0 mustang convertable and maybe an AMC S/C rambler soon... We used to have 2 other 1968 mustangs, one a 289 GT/CS and the other was a 289 coupe. I'm not rich, most need work :( but some are drivable.

How do I put up pictures?

Steve, for some unexplainable reason I like that 71 honda!

I drive a definite classic...you don't see many around anymore, I think most ended up in the monster truck arenas. I think the collonade coupes going to make a big comeback though.

Hell yeah for the Cutty I'm a fan of the olds. What engine do you have in it?

As far as posting pictures goes I use a third party site called photobucket and use linking. If you can't get it working I'll post your pics for you, just need you to email em to me.

Standard 350 V8...but I have a 425 big block with lovely forged crank and big valve heads from a 66 Toronado waiting to be rebuilt.

Actually carrying the block around the yard is a real good workout in itself.

that should give it a bit of extra motivation :IMHO: I remember how much fun it was running around my garage with my 302 block
