Alright since most of us do not have kettlebells, i was wondering if anyone knew of places where to get them online or stores?

elitefts.com
newyorkbarbell.com
muscledriverusa.com

i'm sure there's many others also, check on craigslist.com to see if you can find a local kettlebell because whatever it costs it will cost just as much to ship it.

This is the best prices I found them a few months ago. I haven't purchased any from them so I can't swear by the quality.

If anyone's within driving distance of NY Barbell in Elmira, NY, they have a great selection on hand, up to 95 lbs, I think. I went there last month and bought a little 35 lb'er just to learn how to use one. But be warned, they have a lot of other stuff. You will need willpower not to leave with a car load.

I think even with shipping added NYBB might be less money.

I thought I read on the Anvil where Willie stated he would be posting some cupons or discount codes for KBs from muscledriverusa.com.

I have always got mine through dragondoor.com, but I have never had to pay shipping because he is often here in Minnesota, where I just go pick them up from where he holds his seminars. I have been to one of his seminars/training session (5 hours) what a workout. Also the quality of the kettlebells is top notch.

You can make them pretty easily with a U-lock and some standard plates.

I have the kettlegrips from Iron Woody. You can get the large handle up to around 100lbs and it works for this purpose. If all you're going to use it for is to get ready for this contest, it would be significantly cheaper than a true kettlebell.

I have a few from muscledriver.com. The gray series cheaper than the black is what I have. Good service and quick shipping like a week both times.
