Read the friggin' training journals. I don't do it enough and I'm betting you don't either. There is good stuff in there, fresh ideas, inspiration, etc. A lot of impressive feats going on. Probably more productive than boohooing about which events are at contests.

Support your fellow meatheads. Hold them accountable...especially those that go 2-3 weeks without posting. And especially the guys you'll be lining up against in November...hold yourself accountable too.

well said. I learn so much from everyone's training journals. Even the weaklings (like me).

No one is built the same, no one thinks the same, no one responds to exercise the same way. The old standby programs are great to base your training off of, but they will NOT be the best thing for you.
