I've had some success increasing my OHP, and I had the same sticking point.

Heavy tri work will help build strength in your tri's to push past that. Board presses, CGBP, lockouts have been helping me.

Also, stronger leg drive will get more acceleration for the log, which will help get past that point as well.

You can also work on dipping under the bar faster, and basically eliminate that sticking point altogether. OH lockouts seem to be helping quite a bit for me.

The next time you come by to train, I can show you how I set up for OH lockouts. Last week, I got 300lbs up twice. That makes 250 and below feel much easier. *LOL*

Plus, you can check out my training journal on "that other site", and see what I have been doing on my 2 pressing days. I've been following that for a couple months now, and it has made HUGE improvements in my OHP.

Of course, my OHP sucks anyway *LOL*, so hopefully Jesse will chime in here with his thoughts.:)

He coverered just about everything. The other thing I like to do that's helped my log lockouts is palms in dumbell push presses with bands. Use minis, or monster minis if you can and really overload the triceps.
