Yes, I'm a doctor, the signature seems not always to work !?
I work in South West Sydney Australia in one of the busiest Emergency Dept's in the state.

Where as I agree if it gets severe it is bad, I have to say this.
This year is swine, last year mad cow, the year before avian flu, the year before that SARS and lets not forget an entire decade of HIV scare in the 80s. Wash hands, don't touch face or mouth or pick nose and take care of yourself. I can't wait to see what disease it is next year! I am an RN at a smaller comminity hospital, about 1500 employees and unfortunately no Cardiothoracic team, which means no cardiac caths, open hearts and so on. I miss that from my last job. Anyway...really haven't seen a whole lot of confirmed Swine flu and as for my little boy, IF that is actually what he had, he pulled through fine and is more and more like me daily....that might not be good. Anyway, the point is MEDIA SENSATIONALISM. They don't have a story, they don't have a job.
