Scott's fight on his chest to still make the press? Incredible.
There were several very easy looking 300 presses as well! |

Kent Smith and Pierre Sutter BOTH HAD A LOT MORE IN THE TANK! Why did they only do 300lb logs?

I tried 310 afterwards, but failed pretty spectacularly. I got it overhead, with elbows locked 2x but couldn't keep my feet stable long enough to get the down signal. It started drifting forward and I just couldn't keep my balance. Maybe next time!

Kent cranked on the 310 twice (and handled his misses very maturely...hahaha inside joke). Pierre smoked his 290 in a very efficient style, but it was Scott Helms who popped the other 300. Straight old-school Olympic press with great back bend.
When we were warming up, Scott jumped from 230 straight to 280...everyone was like WTF?! It was a great move, and then he went out there and backed it up. Incredible lifting, guys. Some unreal improvement by many on that video.

Those weights are impressive for a heavy weight. But for a LW WOW. I'm with the rest of you that makes me feel weak.
