What are the sandbags like? Are they thick and stiff or do they have some space in the bag so you are able to mold the shape a bit when you pick it up?

I have a few questions:

1) What will be the starting position for the sandbags? Hands on or off?
2) I'm going to be doing early weigh on on the 12th; is there any way I can look at the equipment or will it all be at the college?
3) Speaking of the college, does it have normal gym facilities (i.e. bathrooms)?
4) If Angela is the only female contestant, will you cancel the women's division?
5) If I bring up some CDs (you can keep them) during early weigh in will you or Murph consider using them for this and other contests? I told Murph I'd make some a while ago and I did, but I keep forgetting to send them.
6) Do your Farmer's handles have knurling on them?
7) Is the course for the Farmer's/sandbag 100 feet or 140 feet?
8) Just to be 100% sure, these are allowed, correct?

9) Who was the guy commentating here (just curious):

10) I've got about 10 people coming; is there a spectator fee? (There should be. )
11) Can competitor's do the DL in socks?

Thank you for your time and patience. I am very excited to compete.

Chris,

You may start with your hands on the sandbag but it must be on the floor.

The equipment will be packed in a truck on Saturday. There will be some time before the contest to check out the equipment though.

The college has great facilities including bathrooms and a great weight room that was just added to warm up in.

If Angela is the only women I will not cancel the division. I should have at least one other though so hopefully that will not happen.

I make compilation cds for every contest so I am all set, but thank you.

There is no knurling on the farmers handles.

The course for the farmers is 100 ft with a turn at 50 and the sandbag course will be 50 ft for each sandbag.

Briefs are fine with me.

Willie Wessels was MC at Paxton Strongman 3.

There is an admission fee of $5 and children under 12 are free. We are raising money for two different charities this year so bring all of your family and friends!

You may deadlift in your socks.

No problem Chris. See you in two weeks!
