There are only a few people who can say "I'm not doing that strongman competition because it's too light"

Now that Benedikt has stated his case via IronMind, could we have the reviewed official list of events with corresponding weights for that contest ?

And also, if at all possible, the total prize money at stake.

Thanks Jonathan.

I am impressed by the log lift medley ( especially the last log) and the 6 x Atlas Stones run.

From the 2009 Fortissimus experience, only Brian Shaw completed the stones' event. The sixth stone was then 193 kg ( 425 lbs).

Any idea about the size of the stones ? Are they Slater-made stones ?

Paul,

The log lift medley is heavy, many think the 200k log is there for Zydrunas if he wants to have a go at it. Fastest to do the 180 will realistically be the goal.

The stones start at 1500mm height and will go down to around 1000mm, so that would make them not unrealistic. The 215kg stone is a great idea.

The stones would be made from Slater moulds by the Australians. Importing ready made Slater stones would cost far too much to be practical. The monsterbell is made by Slaters and some of the logs will be Slaters as well.

I can't confirm the validity of everything said above, they are my understandings.

A 200kg log at the end of a medley would be amazing. Jono, you better record this!

Some guys you just know are going to be good. I could care less about any of our visiters current state of physical prowess. in order to be strong one must first be in possession of the proper constitution. You want to be strong? be like Patrick. No excuses. No limitations. get it done. work.

Thanks Jonathan for the details.

IMO if Zydrunas comes with a set mind on some of the events he will put up a great show.

No doubt that he has the strength to handle the logs. The last one is 10 kg ( 22 lbs) under his WR. The first three are warm ups for him.

He should also make a terrific time on the Yoke. At 2009 Fortissimus he went 30 m with 925 lbs ( 420 kg ) in 18 secs for a WR.

Heights of platforms make it interesting for the stones. And a real challenge . Yes it could be done.
