Default MILO journal for serious strength athletes

Anyone subscribe to MILO journal for serious strength athletes and if so is it worth the 80 bucks?

Yes, and yes...BUT I mostly do Highland Games which is a good piece of their coverage. From an overalll strength sport/enthusiast standpoint I would say well worth it. Not so sure about strongman specific. I think other people here would be able to give you better opinions.

The digital version is cheaper but after a year of doing that I'm going back to the hard copies.

it is very pricey, but it covers the sports that we love and compete in, that the other [muscle/bodybuilding] mags don't cover. highland games, armwrestling, strongman, powerlifting, and alot of oly lifting! there are great articles on all different types of lifting/training stuff, written by experts in their sport!
and, NO ADS! no advertisments, no commercials LOL! just page after page of articles and comp write ups, by people who were there!

sorry for rambling, but it is worth the price!

It's worth the price. Anyday, anytime.

Know of any other strength mag that digs in the way MILO does ? I don't.

The team behind Randall Strossen does a fantastic job. Subscribing to MILO is supporting a tremendous tool that promotes the sports of strength to an unsurpassed degree.

yes, you should certainly subscribe to it and support the company that called for a ban of certain athletes from competing at WSM.

I had a 'scrip for several years before they started really jacking the price up. It's a good read, and I'd like to support Strossen, but $20 per issue is ridiculous. There is some goofy stuff in there too, like Steve Justa training by stomping his legs on the ground, the history of the Russian pinky lift, stuff like that. If you are swimming in money though, I say go for it.
