A Celebration of the Life of Jesse Marunde will be held at Sequim Community Church, 1000 N. 5th Ave, Sequim, WA, Wed, August 1, 1pm.

Donations for the Jesse Marunde Memorial Fund should be facilitated through the PayPal account associated with this forum.

I don't have paypal. I noticed on the NASS forum that they mentioned making t shirts. I'd like to buy one if they do. Does anybody know if this is going to go through?

I never got the chance to meet Jesse, I would pay my respects in person If I could. he has been one of the great role models of our generation and not just in regards to the sport! a real champion! I've posted messages trying to express the empathy I have for his family, it is simply impossible to articulate sadness and shock, words seem totally inadequate.

Jesse competed in the first show I was ever involved with back in 2004. He was a great showman.
People here in Philly still remember him ...always with a smile. It is a great loss for so many.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Sarge. I gave a little something but every little bit helps. I hope this gets a lot bigger than any of the fund raisers Jesse organized.

I would also be happy to buy a memorial shirt or two if anyone makes them. I obviously don't know what kind of planning Jesse had done, but I hope we can pull together to help his family at this very difficult time.
