There isn't much to say other than I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Jesse personally and have trained with him plenty of times and he was an amazingly nice person and a great competitor. We will all miss him.

This is surreal....
I never got to meet Jesse, but all the same it hurt when the news about him passing away hit norway today.

Jesse was one of the icons of strongman! Not big and silent, not bulky and angry... Just athletic, strong and smiling.

Jesse kept on fighting and kept on smiling, no matter what!
He is allready missed.

My wife and I are deeply sorry for his family's loss.

God Bless Jesse Marunde and his whole family. Jesse inspired me and motivated me and was single-handedly responsible for a new generation of interest in the Strongman sport. Jesse was a leader. I will miss you Jesse.
