Sarge's Beef Brisket

This one is a favorite that Sarge prepares for road trips to contests. We eat it like finger food out of a big zip lock bag. Serve w/ plain baked potatoes and plenty of milk!

Season Liberally w/ salt, pepper and chopped garlic
Wrap tightly in 3 layers of foil
Bake @ 225 degrees for 6 hours.
Slice meat cross grain

 

Texas Style Pulled Pork from Shoulder Roast

Sarge comes from Texas and so does this weight gainer. Store the pork in a Tupperware container and take it to work so you can make your buddies jealous watching you eat this mass monster delicacy!

Place roast in crock-pot
Add 2 bottles of expensive root beer
Cook 8 hours
Mix one bottle of root beer w/ one bottle of Heinz chili sauce
Reduce mixture by ½ in saucepan
Remove pork from crock-pot and discard left over liquid
Pull pork w/ forks
Combine sauce and pork in crock-pot
Serve on garlic toasted hoagie rolls.

 

Strongman's Pie

Show your training partner how much you care by surprising them with this extreme mass gainer from Sarge's kitchen. Split it in half, try to polish off the whole thing, and watch your squat go through the roof!

2lbs ground beef
2 packets brown gravy mix
4 large spuds
1 cup green beans
½ lb fresh sliced mushrooms
1 large chopped onion
¼ stick of butter

Brown ground beef w/ onions and mushrooms. Drain well then add salt, pepper and ½ teaspoon garlic powder.
Boil and mash spuds w/ butter.
Mix gravy according to packet instructions
Combine gravy, ground beef, and peas together
Spread mixture evenly in baking dish
Cover w/ mashed spuds and dot the top w/ more butter
Bake @ 375 degree for 25 minutes.

 

Massive Meat Loaf

Meat loaf is the best left over in the world, so don't be afraid to double or triple this recipe just to make sure you don't get hungry while your cooking the next batch. Our motto with meat loaf is '2 pounds a day keeps the smallness away!'

2lbs ground beef
1 ½ cup organic oats
2 eggs
¾ cup milk
One packet meat loaf seasoning
Mix everything in a large bowl
Place mixture in baking pan or bread pan in the shape of a loaf of bread
Bake @ 350 degree for 1 hour
Drain fat off every 20 minutes
Serve w/ ketchup

 

Strongman Scramble

This is your basic mass builder breakfast. Jesse says that nothing beats eggs, oats and milk for gaining weight. Cream cheese is optional unless you're a hard gainer, then it's mandatory.

8 eggs
¼ chopped onion
Handful of fresh spinach
3-4 chopped mushrooms
1/3 cup of cream cheese
1 tsp olive oil
Add olive oil to hot pan
Fry onions and mushrooms until soft
Add eggs, spinach, and cream cheese
Scramble until cooked

 

Totally organic Oatmeal

Oats are one of the best carbohydrates you can eat. Don't ruin them with a bunch of sugar and butter. Add one or more of the following as substitutes and you're body will thank you! Serve unlimited amounts of oats with the Strongman Scramble.

As much oats as you can manage to swallow!
10 berries
10 walnuts or almonds
Cinnamon
Sweet and low (go easy on this stuff)
1 tablespoon flax oil
¼ cup Raisins or any chopped dried fruit

 

Secret Ingredient Steak

The secret ingredient is coffee. It doesn’t take much, but it really makes a different. This steak recipe is awesome! Steak doesn’t get much better than this.

1 tbsp kosher salt
1 tsp dry thyme
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp favorite ground coffee (Secret ingredient)

Mix all ingredients
Rub on your favorite cut of steak (I like New York Strip from www.grasslandbeef.com) and let stand 1 hour
Sear each side for 1 min and then cook w/ top down for 7-8 minutes or how ever you like your steak done.

 

STRONGMAN QUICHE

Get ready for a treat! Friends and family mysteriously show up whenever word gets out that Callie is cooking her world famous strongman quiche. This baby brings some serious calories, so clean your plate, hit an extra set of squats and get ready to do some serious growin!

Easy PIE CRUST (this can be home made or store bought)
1 ¼ cup flour (you may substitute ½ wheat flour)
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup olive oil
3 tbsp milk

Mix together all dry ingredients. Add milk and oil to dry mixture. Stir with fork. Form the dough into a ball and press into a 9” pan.

Quiche Ingredients
1 lb 75% lean ground beef from www.grasslandbeef.com
¼ cup chopped red pepper
1 ½ cup fresh spinach
1/3 cup olives cut in quarters
1 wedge of aged cheddar cheese from www.grasslandbeef.com
1 Tbsp flour
4 beaten eggs

Bed and Breakfast eggs.

These eggs are awesomly tasty and full of calories. Grams used to cook this recipe for guests at their bed and breakfast in Kona, Hawaii. Everyone always loved it! It's loaded with fat so that's why its in the weightgainers recipe section. Not even Jesse can eat this whole thing, so you better split it with your training partner.

1/2 pound Gruyere cheese grated (don't substitute)
4 Tblsp. butter
1 cup heavy cream (unwhipped whipping cream.)
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
12 eggs slightly beaten.

Spread grated cheese in buttered 9''x13'' baking dish. Dot top of cheese with butter.
Mix cream with seasonings and mustard. Pour 1/2 of mixture over cheese.
Add slightly beaten eggs.
Pour remaining cream mixture over eggs.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes or until eggs set.

Easy Cowboy Beans

OK boys and girls, you're gonna love this coyboy recipe. It makes a great Tupperware take anywhere meal but watch out!.... Coyboys live outside, where you should be after you eat a mess of this grub. If you don't think farts are funny then you better stay away from this one. Don't say we didn't warn you.

1-1 1/2 pounds ground beef or Stew Beef
1 red or green bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can (16 ounces) baked beans
1 can (15-1/2 ounces) Great Northern beans, rinsed, drained
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup prepared steak sauce
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Brown ground beef with bell pepper and onion in large nonstick skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is not pink, breaking beef up into 1-inch crumbles.
Pour off drippings; season with salt and pepper.
Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally

Salmon Burgers

Jesse has caught over one million pounds of salmon in his life via 14 years on the Bering Sea with Pops. He used to hate just the smell of salmon, now he loves it! Every once in a while Jesse and Sarge take a break from their massive beef consumption to enjoy the goodness of God's tastiest fish.

1 lb Salmon Filet
1 sleeve Ritz Crackers
3 whole eggs
1 Green Pepper
1 small Onion
1 Tomato

Dice Salmon until its basically ground. You can squeeze it into much with your hands too.
Finely chop pepper, onion and tomato.
Mix all ingredients together.
Form into 4 patties and grill on medium heat for about 8 minutes each side or 10 minutes on your Foreman grill.
