Every entry is one object or one contest, with its place, its weight, and how well the story is documented.

Corrections first, then sources, then photographs. In that order of usefulness.

The register is maintained by one person. Anything that sharpens a figure or straightens a provenance is welcome, and anything that asks for training advice will be answered with a link to the about page.

What to send, and where it goes

A correctionName the entry and the figure, and say what the better source is. Corrections are applied to the entry and noted in it.
A sourceContemporary accounts, weighing records and custodian records are the three most useful kinds. A citation beats a summary.
A photographThe object, the ground, or the ironwork. Credit as you would like it to appear, and confirmation that it is yours to license.
Not thisRequests for programmes, technique or coaching, and anything about drugs or supplements. The site does not carry them.

Written enquiries only, in English. There is no telephone number and no premises to visit — the stones are not here, they are at Potarch, Húsafell, Braemar and the Basque villages named in the register.
